Preschool party

Jackson has a valentine party at preschool tomorrow so we spent the evening making...... valentines. The one I thought was supposed to be a dragonfly, but looks rather like a mosquito instead. On the back of the wings it says "Just buzzing by to say..... Happy Valentines Day!". Cute ideas thanks to Family Fun magazine.

Thirsty!!

Maggie thinks it's so funny when the cats get a drink out the sink so she just had to join Grey one day. Kind of gross I know, in my defense, the cat hadn't taken a drink yet..............

Children's Museum

Firefighter Jackson at the Children's Museum. It was a lot of fun but WOW they wore me out. And yes, I know he needs a haircut................ he got one on Friday.

Sunglasses

Maggie showing off her new sunglasses. She and Jackson both really hate to have the sun in their faces so they would ask for sunglasses whenever they saw me put mine on.............. I'll have to get a pic of Jackson in his too.

Pillow case race, anyone?

This started with a pillow fight - which left Maggie at a disctint disadvantage - so we had to come up something new for them to do..........

Jumping Jackson. He thought this was great fun. The pillow cases were stretchy so he could run, jump, and go on the stairs.

Maggie, modeling the latest in pillow case fashion. I tied hers in a knot to keep it up so she wouldn't have to hold it.

SNOW

This is our snow mountain. We've been adding to it each time we've had to shovel. As you can see - we have had to shovel A LOT!!

Hair do??

This is one of my attempts at doing Maggie's hair. Hopefully, I get better with practice. At least I'm trying, right?

Cameras

Since I was taking pictures - Jackson thought he should to. He made his own camera to take pictures of me.

This is Maggie - copying Jackson's camera idea. She was definitely a sticky mess after her picture taking.

Graham Cracker Houses

Last night we needed an activity to keep the kiddos busy - hence, the graham cracker houses. Matt likes to do things with them in the kitchen but hates for them to get their messes in food he is going to eat..... so this was a good compromise - everyone makes their own.

Maggie is working hard........ at getting frosting EVERYWHERE!! She had a great time and that's what counts right?

Now to eat our creations!!

Jackson is eating the roof on his. He actually did a pretty good job building - then it all fell over...

Needless to say - a bath had to follow this activity.
