Thanksgiving pic

The whole in-law gang over Thanksgiving. It was alot of fun to see everyone. It's been a number of years since we were all together - before any of the grandkids were born I think.

Playing in the snow on our Tday trip

Nice snow angels! It was funny to watch Maggie just flop down in the snow and lay there after she saw the others making snow angels.

Jackson with his two cousins - one is about 5 months younger and the other 9 months younger. It's fun to have them so close in age. They play a lot when they get together.

Maggie really enjoyed the sledding too!!

We love to play games!!

The kiddos love to play with all of our games. We are excited for them to get older so we can all play board games together. The in-laws are game crazy - apparently it's genetic!!

Backyard Fun

Sorry about the focus issues - kids in motion is not my strong photography skill...............

" Look what I can do!! I learned it from my brother............."

Some backyard fun while the weather was still reasonably nice. We have really loved having a swingset in our backyard. Well worth the investment - and thanks to Dad for building it.............!!

Snack Time

Jackson was having a great time making walrus teeth etc. with pretzels. It was so entertaining to watch Maggie try to imitate him......

November 12 2007

The kiddos after eating some icee type ice cream. Makes you wonder what they put in that stuff.

I found these magician hats at a yard sale after Jackson found some magic wands. It's a lot of fun to watch them play with them. Maggie puts hers on and says "silly 'at".

Maggie is starting to get very interested in books so we are trying to add reading into her bedtime routine. Usually it doesn't go over well because she's too tired. Oh well :)

November 8 2007

We had alot of fun projects tonight. We had some boxes out so that led to box racing on the kitchen floor.......

Then I used a box to make Jackson a shield so he could be a knight and save princess Maggie (his words :) )
After Maggie went to bed, Jackson and I worked on "the map". Jackson has started to ask a lot of questions about where people live and how we can visit them so we bought a large map to mark where everyone lives and add their pictures so he can start to get a sense of it all. I thought we could use the Christmas cards and pics that everyone usually sends - so we started with last years and we will update to this year as they come :) Hint, hint!!

November 07

Today I spent most of the day cracking walnuts - as I do everyday right now - and this evening we did yard work. Matt worked on the leaves while I mowed. It's nice to have it done. The kids are going to bed early since they are adjusting to the time change.
