The kids really like dying the eggs and were proud of finding the ones they did. Hailey wanted in on the loot too. These pictures are from our backyard. We also went to the city easter egg hunt. They just put all the eggs out on the grass and let the kids race for them. Maggie was planning which eggs she wanted - "the purple one with flowers, the yellow one with stripes and the pink polka dot one. okay, mom?" I had to warn her that she might not get all the ones she wanted. Then we had to trade in the eggs for candy.... she almost preferred the eggs. It was divided up into age groups so Matt went with Jackson. He said it was really funny because Jackson had a section all to himself for a little while but instead of picking up eggs as fast as he could he would run around like crazy, pick up one egg, run around like crazy and pick up one more egg. All in all it was very entertaining. Oh, and Maggie didn't want to have anything to do with the guy in the easter bunny costume. "It's talking," she said.

You guys really need to come visit us. Your kids are adorable. I've realized that there are more and more people who don't do Easter Bunny or Baskets. I like the tradition but we started with it so I guess we'll keep it up. I do try to write a special letter to the kids each easter to add a little extra. Oh and the easter bunny poops in our house. Little chocolate covered raisins and whoppers.
